▸ WHAT THIS IS
Find the Needle is a giant 3D haystack in your browser: 250×200 dig cells × 100 strands of hay = the 5,000,000. Hidden in exactly one cell is a needle. Everyone on earth digs the same stack at the same time — every scoop you see disappearing was dug by a real person. The wallet whose scoop uncovers the needle takes the pot. Then a fresh stack pours in and the next round begins.
This is not a coin about the viral haystack game — it's a playable one. Original concept by @NasNakarus, fully credited; what we built is the shared-world version where the needle pays out for real.
▸ A ROUND, START TO FINISH
- The stack rises. The pour fills the field; a commitment hash for the new needle location is published before anyone digs (see provably fair).
- Everyone digs. Each scoop clears a small patch. The stats bar shows hay remaining, diggers on the field right now, and total scoops.
- Someone hits the needle. The find plays out for everyone (below), the location + secret salt go public so anyone can verify.
- Payout & reset. The pot pays the finder's wallet, and a new stack pours in with a new commitment.
▸ DIGGING
Open the field, aim, scoop. No account, no download.
- Speed limits are server-side. Every digger has a scoop cooldown and a daily scoop budget, enforced where you can't touch them. Client tricks change nothing.
- Connect your wallet before you dig for the pot. Your wallet is bound to your dig session (at launch settings, by signing a one-line message — proof you own it). No wallet linked = your find can't be paid.
- The one rule: hold at least $100 of $HAYSTACK. Digging is free for everyone, but the pot only pays a finder whose wallet holds $100+ of $HAYSTACK at the moment of the find. No hold — the pot rolls into the next stack.
▸ BOOSTS — DIG FASTER ARMING AT TOKEN LAUNCH
Boosts change your dig speed. They never change — and can never reveal — where the needle is. All boost speed is enforced server-side.

Why boosts exist: they price raw digging power. A bot farm trying to brute-force the field has to pay for every extra scoop — that cost is what keeps the pot winnable by people.
▸ FINDING THE NEEDLE
When your scoop clears the needle's cell: the hay parts, the camera dives, and the needle is lying there in the crater — you drag it out of the stack yourself. A banner announces the find with your wallet, the coordinates, and the revealed secret so the round can be verified by anyone. Everyone else on the field sees the same reveal within seconds. Then the stack resets.
▸ GETTING PAID — NO CLAIM BUTTON, ON PURPOSE
You never "claim" anything, because there is nothing to claim: your wallet was already cryptographically attached to your digging before you found the needle. The win is recorded server-side in the same instant it happens.
Eligibility: the pot pays only a finder holding $100+ of $HAYSTACK at the moment of the find. Find it without holding and the pot rolls into the next stack — so check your bag before you dig.
- The round record (wallet, needle location, revealed salt) is published — anyone can check it against the pre-round commitment.
- The pot is sent from the pot wallet to the recorded winner wallet only, and the payout transaction link is posted publicly.
⚠️ There is no claim flow — so any DM, site, or form asking you to "claim your NEEDLE winnings" is a scam, every time. The pot goes to the wallet that dug the needle. Nothing else. Nobody will ever DM you first.
The pot is funded by creator fees from $HAYSTACK trading. Pot custody stays offline — the game server never holds keys, so no hack of the game can touch the money.
▸ PROVABLY FAIR, IN 20 SECONDS
Before each round, the server publishes SHA-256(round:x:y:salt) — a fingerprint of the needle's location locked with a 256-bit secret. It can't be reversed to find the needle, and we can't move the needle without breaking the fingerprint. When someone wins, the salt is revealed and anyone can recompute the hash. ▸ FAQ
- Can the operator see the needle and dig it up?
- The commitment makes cheating detectable: the needle can't move once the hash is published, and every reveal is publicly checkable. Operator rounds would break the published fingerprint.
- Can a bot just sweep the whole field?
- Cooldowns + daily budgets + per-round ceilings cap free digging, and extra speed must be paid for (burns). Sweeping is priced to cost more than the pot is worth.
- What do I need to play?
- A browser — digging is free. To actually win the pot: a connected Solana wallet holding at least $100 of $HAYSTACK when you find it.
- Is this an investment?
- No. It's a game with a community pot funded by trading fees. Dig because it's fun; never spend what you can't lose.
